Unless you go camping a LOT, take a pass on it. I bought a Gold Key Membership way back in 97 and we only used it THREE times. You still must pay dues whether you camp or not.

Thats a pretty broad brush stroke.
It won't work for the 2 week vacationers and three long weekenders. But for fulltimers or nearly fulltimer who can use a campground 200 days a year or 365, it can save a lot of money and provide a safe camping environment.
