How about you? Got a favorite?
I'm still hung up on Deb shaving her legs.
bumpy :) - VulcaneerExplorerI remember one famous closure. The thread was about a guy that was asked to move his truck and TT from a donut shop parking lot. And stated that he was really incensed that the Donut shop manager 'hit' on the guys wife.
Another poster mentioned something about the guys donut eating wife. Some posts just have a way generate a distinct visual.
That post didn't last long before the entire thread got poofed. No explanation. Nothing. Just gone. And no reason needed.

Indeed.
The mod who posts a little note with the closure- totally appropriate.
The secrecy and randomness?
That's weasely. - BumpyroadExplorerI have asked the moderator in a PM why some of my posts have been deleted, (not the ones that are obvious) and it usually was because I quoted a post that he/she deleted.

The stricter guidelines and increase of closed threads and addition of entire poofed threads started the same time Affinity changed their name to GS and the 6 New GS CW forums where added to RVnet and all the portals. And links to this forum was added to all things Affinity oops I mean GS. - WandaLust2Explorer

Well, I seem to have more post that "disappear" than ones that actually stay on the forums. This recently started and I have no clue as to why and probably never will. Maybe I should just "move on".
I'm convinced that mods, on all Forums, be they gardening forums, quilting forums, pet care forums....being human, mods may take a dislike to certain posters and remove their posts. I have seen it too many times in the years I've been online to be mistaken about it. It's not fair but there is little anyone can do about it. - ANewCreationExplorerSome folks, oftentimes the OP, get so defensive of their position(s) that the thread simply becomes about who has the last word. Ultimately, the moderator does.
- BigdogExplorerI do remember in the olde days when there were several olde guys,or persons, that just delighted in seeing just how fast they could be banned and then how fast they could get back on under another name.
There are a few thread subjects they should ban,eg; Wal-mart parking,LT tires vs.ST tires, which road service is either better or the worst, north pole tires or south pole tires, etc. The list can go on ad nauseum.
And yes,Fransesca,I too have had DickA write me a couple of times, telling me what I had done wrong. And we are gonna see you at the next RV.net spring rally in Toppeninish next May,right. - old_guyExplorerjust for your information, they do close, delete and what ever at will. that is mid for what they used to do. they used to black ball you from the forums in the old days and that is the ultimate post closer.
