No one from Indiana has responed yet, I just paid my MH and it just got under $1000 for this year (3 yr old RV). My 09 Honda was $190 and 01 Honda about $47. We used to pay personal property separate but a few years ago the state thought there were enough people just not reporting RVs so they added excise tax to plate fees.
Our property, income and sales taxes are a little less than neighboring states, so I guess it evens out, but is still a bite.
