Only a 9.25% sales tax and no income tax is a good deal compared to some states. Minnesota charges almost 7% base sales tax plus income tax as high as about 8%. Real estate taxes are not exactly cheap either.
My motorhome costs me $275 a year for registration with no discount for older units. There is no personal property tax at least.
