I don't know your financial situation but taking off RVing for the summer doesn't seem like a good idea without a job. I would save that money - just in case.
If you do go, as stated, Moab is very hot in the summer so if you get a RV site that you have to pay for the electric, it's going to be very expensive. You might think more in terms of being at higher elevation - 7,000+ during the summer. Good luck!
