Tips on installing Back-up trailer assist on 16' F150?

Hi,

Tonight I will install the Back-up Trailer Assist on my new 2016 F-150. I have read the owner manual, I have watched 2 videos on youtube (1 from Ford, and 1 private).

I'm nervous about doing this. I want to do it right so that feature will serve me right once installed. Instructions in the manual are long...

Any tips, warnings, etc from owners of 2015-2016 F-150 who have installed it?

Thanks

Marc

LOL! I have a similar device on my 2001 Ram, but mine flip up, and are powered.

  • Looks neat, but seems to make the whole process a bit more complicated... Then again, I've been towing trailers almost as long as I've been driving.

Interested in the update on how well it works with a TT!
