I have them on my truck tires only. They came with my 2010 truck. The tire monitor sensor for each tire works great with the truck built-in tire monitor. Was thinking of adapting something similar for the trailer tires..
I'm guessing I have something like this on the inside of my tires with a small battery included with the assy.. Must be a wireless thing...

Of course that is something I do before starting the trips and at every pit stop along the way...
If I make it automatic I wouldn't have much to do at a pit stop. I still will have to feel the wheel bearings anyway... Might as well measure the air pressure with a manual gauge..
On my truck about the only time I see anything is when it gets real cold and Lose tire pressure haha... brings up an alert on the info panel...
