Dutch, How did you remove the rotating caps? I have the TST TM-507 and they drove me nuts trying to get the thing back on with that goofy wrench without loosing all the air I just put it. I was even thinking of super gluing the caps so they would not rotate. But wasn't real keen on that idea.
I was wondering myself about those , I’m thinking I like the older style better . I guess they thought it was a better theft prevention.
Mine came with nuts you screw on first and then put the caps on. You then lock the nuts against the caps. I don't use the nuts. I just screw them on like a regular cap. No issues. Very easy to fill up.
