I have the trailer home for a few days (storage),, Have Maxxis tires,, can I just rotate left for right/front to back and be ok?? I think Left rear should go to Right front?? two years on tires.. Thoughts???

  • I rotate mine every 5k miles just like on the TV. poncho62 said it right. The weights on each tire are never equal. Even though sometimes they look like they are wearing even...a tread depth gauge will tell you different. However, "MOST" ST tires will be past their anticipated life span before the tread is worn out. I would like to get the most life as possible from my LT's just like the ones on my TV.

Are they showing any wear? I've never rotated the tires on my TT (21 ft), and they have worn evenly.
  • I have to disagree.....The weights on every corner of your trailer are not going to be exactly the same. Would be nice if they were. Rotating them will make them wear evenly. Sure, if you have a bent axle or whatever, it should be attended to.
  • Sort of a waste of time. The only thing it will do is hide the effects of wear from a bad axle so you don't have to fix it.
If you really want to rotate them take it for a trip.
