I'm not so sure about maintaining the original diameter. The original rims had 8.75R16LT tires on them. I called into tires plus and the guy told me with LT245/75R16 I wouldn't have any clearance issues but who knows if he knows what he's talking about. They have nothing to lift an rv so he said I'd have to get the tires on the vehicle myself. Ugh. He said the 235/85R16 would also fit the rims but they would be taller, which worries me that I may get clearance issues...
