Tire speed ratings
Only thing i can find about Maxxis M8008 is that its Speed rating is R which is 106mph. Good to go :)

What if someone has a modern lightweight unit that sits on 13" oor 14" tires?
Surely you wouldn't be advocating they run P-rated radials on them?
A healthy load rating margin is important.
If that can't be done at 13-14" rims, then upgrade to 15-16" and go with LT
