Tire speed ratings
Only thing i can find about Maxxis M8008 is that its Speed rating is R which is 106mph. Good to go :)

GoodYear has a qualifier on their website having something to do with loads and higher inflation that supposedly increases the speed rating to 75... for what that's worth.
I wouldn't run ST tires if you paid me. Garbage. Regardless the manufacturer.
Your opinion of all ST tires being "garbage" would be confounded by the millions of users that have them and use them with no problems. To generalize that all ST tires are the same shows a lack of knowledge about tires, they are not all the same.
If I could fit them and wished to change hubs/wheels, I'd use LT tires. Unfortunately, that's not the case.
