Tire speed ratings
Only thing i can find about Maxxis M8008 is that its Speed rating is R which is 106mph. Good to go :)

ST tires don't use the standard speed ratings. The ST designation carries a 65 mph rating as part of the designation. There is no letter for 65 mph in the standard speed rating. ST tires also don't use load index numbers.
There are some ST tires that have incorporated load/speed ratings but that is not the norm or really inline with the ST designation. Instead they should be "for trailer use only" tires.
I have always had great luck with ST's aside from rock punctures on some nasty roads. I currently run LT's for that reason but ST's were never an issue for me. I towed many miles at 70-75 mph on my Marathons using Goodyears TSB about operation between 66-75 and never had a flat or issue on paved roads.
