All good advice above, the Maxxis and Goodyear's are getting good reviews. I would also recommend the new Carlisle Radial Trail ST tires. They're developing a solid reputation too.
Whichever tire you go with, find your lowest price online. (In my area it was walmart.com). Take that price to your nearest America's Tire/Discount Tire (same company) and they will beat the price by a buck or two.
