Is it that speeding on interstate highways is a good idea because 88% of speed-related deaths occur elsewhere??? Emphasis there on deaths, because those numbers don't even begin to address the suffering of those folks lucky enough to have actually survived speeding-related "accidents".
And I guess it follows that no consideration at all should be given to the enormous losses in property damage also caused by speed limit scofflaws.
