Given the speed limit when towing trailers in oregon is the same as trucks, 55, sooner or later they will likely slow down.

Didn't Old guy" post he was doing 70 and they blew his doors off. Me thinks the two speed-burners looking to get arrested for reckless driving. Good case for more leo's to pull these morons over. They make traveling on the roadways extremely dangerous for everyone else, even if they don't care about their our families.

Last weekend, upon leaving Las Vegas s/b on 15 a pull trailer (or what was left of it) was just off the roadway. They wee waiting for a front loader to get the debris loaded onto dump truck. No tow vehicle at scene. Heavy gusts of wind in the area. Wind could easily have been cause or factor in trailer being totaled.

Show me a law that says you cant exceed the speed rating on a tire. Also look into what it takes to make a tire dot legal, it isnt much.

How many of these yahoos even know that they're on speed-limited tires? Or care, for that matter.

Probably the biggest case for getting rid of ST tires is that the average American neither knows nor cares WHAT kind of rubber he's riding on, or has the smallest notion of how to properly manage it.

There shouldn't be a tire on the road that won't withstand the go-faster-than-t'other guy typical American driver.

Even with LTs, I still think anything over 65 might be pushing the limits a little bit. The speed limit for TT or FW here in AZ is 75 on the interstate. But I'd never go that fast, even if I had LTs.

They may have been running LT tires which have a much higher speed rainy than STs

See em all the time on I5 and I84.
