I am really scared right now which way to go. I have heard Goodyear Marathon, Kuomo, and Power King are the ones producing the kind of tire that I can put on. I have 235 85 16 with very little clearance between 1st and 2nd axle. I was told by every shop in the local area I am at that Goodyear was manufactured here, but wrong! I guess all tires come from China now. Also since I stay in rather warm weather all year around. I was told to help keep the tires cooler is to use nitrogen. I travel alone, and feel that I need the best tire I can afford to put on the rig. I have owned it since March 08 and this will be my third set. Suggestions, help anything, to set my mind at ease.
Welcome to the forum! To help you we need a little more info.
Year, make and model of the trailer.
From the Placard on the front left side of the trailer.
GAWR, GVWR, and OEM tire size and load rating.
Then measure from center to center of the axles and provide that measurement, along with some clearance measurements above and behind the tires.
