Who makes the XPS? Are the tires made for trailers? How much does your rig weigh? Sheryl
Michelin makes the XPS Ribs. They are LT tires but listed by Michelin for trailer use. Steel ply tread and sidewall rather than traditional nylon sidewall found on almost all other tires. Very tough tire and last quite a bit longer than most other tires. Expensive at $275-$290 but with it. You won't deal with blowouts!
I believe all XPS Ribs are rated at 3042# @ 80PSI. How much your trailer weighs isn't whats important with regards to tires. It's whats on the axles. GVWR-Hitch weight. If your trailers GVWR is 14K, then as a guess I'd say 11,200# on the axles which is well under 3042# X 4 = 12168#.
