Part of the problems with tires when you buy a new RV rig has to do with the original size, tire rating, and quality that is put on the trailers. Generally, RV manufactures select tires that just meet the min. weight requirments of each RV rig in order to make more profit. Each RV trailer/5th. wheel's weight + the weight of stuff(food,clothes,beer,tools) will dicate what tire rating a person should use. Just a general guideline, light trailers weighing 4K to 7K might get buy with C or D rated tires with a min. of tire problems. Heavier trailers 8K and above should consider E and G rated tires. Or, the heavier the rig the higher the rating should be on the tires. Just my opinion:)
