Tires

I have a new popup trailer with Duro tires. Tires say DOT X26B I believe. Tire has 5 lug nuts. How do you go about getting a new tire??? I cannot find these tires when i search the internet. Thanks...

  • Speaking of Carlisles. I just had tubes put in the front tubeless turf tires on my little JD tractor cus they would not hold air.

I noticed that they were stamped Made in the USA on the sidewall.
  • Welcome to the forum! Most tire places sell tires for trailers. Just pull it to the shop and they'll help you out. Everyone has an opinion about tires (including me). Most important is to keep them properly inflated regularly. I just bought a new set of Carlisle tires from Discount tired and so far am pleased. They definitely tow better than the original tires that came with the TT. Good luck.

  • Go with Maxxis. Most of the tires on the retail market are sub-par quality tires. Keep your tires properly inflated, and check the torque on your lug nuts. You don't need surprises when you're out having fun.
  • Any tire shop will set you up with some new radials.
I had bad luck with DURO bias ply, can not recommend them.

MAXXIS makes a good ST185/80R13C radial tire.
Keep looking and I bet there is a better number to get the size.
Look for something with the wheel diameter.
  • Come on guys, lets give some credit. This person found a good source to ask the question.

So you found Duro DOT X26B ? :B
  • You need to look for the actual tire size, such as 20.5x8-10, or ST 185-80D 13. Then go online and look at places to buy, prices, etc.
