Our experience with our 25' class C is similar to Desert Captain's and Janns. We hookup to electric only (sometimes not even that if we're fully charged from driving) and it's simple to unhook and drive away. Since we don't stay for days at a time we have very little out at the campsite or inside the RV that has to be put away.
There are always stores along the way where we can stop for supplies and because we're small we always fit in the parking lots.
A small motorhome makes it easy to stop if we see something interesting. It's also very convenient if we want stop for lunch or if we need warmer clothing - everything is with us.
If you're curious check my blog. I post information about RV parking at all of the attractions that we visit. There have been a few places that we had to skip because our motorhome didn't fit but that's rare occurrence.
