I have a feeling it happens more than most realize (on the East Coast). It's just .... those who do it, do it so secret, no one ever knows. And ... if you REALLY want to get away with it ... well ... you NEVER tell anyone what you've done, especially on a public broadcast forum!
(I don't dump on the ground, since I have my tote, never have, never will).
I can agree that it is done discretely which is the way it should be.
Again I'm not naive enough to say it never happens. Nevertheless I still don't think grey water dumping is a big issue in the places where I camp.
The lines at the dump station a way too long!
