Toad or No Toad?

We are new to rving. One year a dozen trips. We felt limited at times without a secondary vehicle to visit nearby points of interest. I own a Honda Fit which is a small light weight vehicle. We rv Spring to early Fall. Considering purchasing a car dolly.

Any advise from those who have used a dolly would be apprciated.

    I rented a tow dolly one time. It was not the best experience. I failed to think about moving dolly to parking area. I learned this the hard way and now preach to install small hitch on toad.
    I have switched many years ago to flat tow. It for me is the way to go.
    You may rent a dolly to see how it works for you before buying one new or used. If you decide on dolly make sure it has brakes. Surge or electric.
    Check owner's manual to see if Fit can be towed four down.
