Our Saturn an 07 with 2.4 engine, gave us great service and a lot of miles driving and more being towed. had to replace a wheel sensor and the fuel injectors, under warranty was all.Mileage was well over 30mpg, tires economical and comfortable for a small car.
Delending on what you are towing with, a 2010 or so Ford Edge or a Hummer, which would increase your options unhooked, are both a bout 40000 to 4400 lbs.
Saturn was something less than 3000lbs , I think and you didn't notice it was back there.
