May 2014 issue of Consumer Reports rated this brand best in disintegration and excellent/very good in other aspects: White Cloud Ultra 3 Ply WalMartUp & Up TP from Target and Nice Premium Ultra from Walgreens scored excellent in disintegration but not so good in other aspects.I have not done the sheets in the mason jar with water test yet.

We normally use Kirkland or Angel Soft, both work fine. Angel Soft used to do pretty good in their tests. The paper is in the tank for so long that it's really a moot point IMO, ie, if it dissolves in 30 seconds or 60. I recommend you use the same stuff you use at home.

I have not/never figured out what the deal is with TP. We buy whatever is on sale and have never had a problem in the last 9 years of fulltiming. I use a Sewer Solution and if there were something that is larger than an inch in diameter, it wouldn't go down the hose.
