Yep, change is coming. I'm really going to miss waiting in long lines while drivers looked for cash in their glove box, try to use an expired credit card or argue why they can't write a check from a bank in Outer Mongolia.
All this automation will take the fun out of going through toll boths. :B
There used to be a dud show on TV back in the 1990's called "Seaquest". Some of you probably remember it. The show was futuristic (somewhere around our current time period). In one of the season premier episodes, the main character was riding his motorcycle and an electronic radar device caught him speeding. It showed the device scanning his license plate and then he received a voice message stating that he was speeding and "XXX" dollars were being deducted from his social security account.
Perhaps not too far from reality...
