How are travelers passing though CA dealing with the transponder?
Or you can pay when you get the bill but it's a very limited time frame before the fines start.
So limited/restricted options for a tourist.
We use the toll bridges on a limited basis but opted to get the transponder and authorized the automatic account deductions. My understanding is that we'll get the transponder deposit back. Both the car and MH are registered so we just drive through. And even if the transponder doesn't work they have the license plate number.
