Minimalist here. I like parking, chocking up, unhitching, getting the TT level, dropping the stairs, dropping the stab jacks, flipping the fridge on, throwing a camp chair out, and calling it done. Going with a motorhome makes that even easier, where it consists of parking, mashing the "auto jack down" button (if the MH has a set of jacks), and then throwing the camp chair outside.
I don't get how friends of mine in Europe do it. Instead of slide-outs, they use "awnings" or "annexes", which are tents that zip on the side of the RV (be it a motorhome or TT), and it can take hours for them to get the poles in place, the fabric threaded through the various grooves, the sides in place, the floor down, and the door open.
