KISS and not the band. Since we are TCers, we need to be minimalist.
2 foldable camp chairs with ouches and side tables
minimal toiletries (no make up, hair curlers/drier for me)
sleeping bags with 2 wool blankets
minimal cookware/paper plates/a couple of sets of eating utensils/miniature cooking utensils/food from home like granola, peanut butter, tuna, energy bars, boxed soups and soy milk, dehydrated foods, coffee
camping towels/washcloths
4 sets of clothing for each
stuff for dog
Okay, this is where we fall off the wagon: camera gear, rockhounding gear and navigational aids. The major reason we travel is for exploring new places, rock hounding and taking photos.
Keeping the rest at a minimum allows us to pack what is important.
