How much do you currently drive and how many accidents/near accidents have you been in?
While I agree "do it while you are able", I think the "able" part is the key. If you rarely drive much anymore OR you have near misses a lot, then I think you need to rethink. If you are a frequent and safe driver who isn't always talking about "that idiot on the road who almost hit me today", then go for it.
