We got our rig 4 years ago when we were in our mid-60s. I was concerned about how long we might be able to use it. So far, we have been across the country a couple of times, and last summer drove up to Alaska. We wouldn't have done Alaska if we didn't have the RV, and think about what we would have missed. RVing can mean adventure and experiences. Make it happen.
When we joined an owners' group, we were surprised to find that we are among the youngest in the group. Many of the members, who drive and participate in rallies are over 80 and have not missed a beat. Frankly, they are an inspiration to me. Hope I can do that too.
Evaluate your situation carefully, and if you still think you want to give RVing a try, Go for it.
