When doing the math for 55 or 65 or 75 mph you'll find you simply can't drive enough miles in a day to make much of a dent past saving 15 or 30 minutes by driving faster.
Do you want to get there or do you want to look at the scenery ?
What really adds to the miles covered every day is less time spent not driving. My dad taught me this simple rule; Once the TV pulls up to the diesel pump, you can do anything you want - potty, eat, shop, stretch your legs, walk the dog. Once the TV is full with fuel it pulls away from the pump. You'd best be inside when it drives away.
Cutting the pit stops down from 30 minutes to 15, or an hour to 30 minutes leaves more driving time.
If you really want to get something done outside the RV, plan it during a dump station stop.
