1. Be able to afford a new enough RV to keep early-on maintenance at a minimum.
2. Be able to recognize - ahead of time - when and on what RV maintenance will be needed.
3. Be able to personally do, or hire done, the maintenance.
Many of us are used to what's involved with living in homes or apartments, as well as driving various road vehicles. Owning and keeping an RV reliable, safe, and conveniently usable requires a different set of skills in order to enjoy RV'ing.
