1. Learn to drive what ever RV you plan to buy. Just because you have a driver license and the state will let you, don't assume you can safely pilot any rig larger than what you already have experience with.
2. RV's are built to save weight, not for longevity. Meaning; they break. A lot. often even.
3. The cheapest monthly expense will be the loan payment on your RV. You'll spend more on the other 'stuff' you never knew you would need. Tires, wheels, generator, every dam nicknack, pattywack, give a dog a bone trinket will turn into a 'must have'. Solar panels, controllers, even the stuff to make your chit not stink. And to get the stink out of the tank and to anyplace else. There's a million choices and you'll buy into at least 3 of each before you are educated enough to recognize what will work and what you wasted your money on. Then there's insurance, maintenance, etc..
Never forget; you CHOSE to get into RVing to have something fun to do. So enjoy it and don't let it get the better of you.
