Ditto on the parental influence! For me before the TT that dad built, we were all packed into the station wagon (with the 3rd seat facing backwards!) Got to see a lot of the good ole USA.
Things that stand out fro me as a kid:
-Rushmore
-Devil's Tower
-Grand Canyon ( and painted dessert)
-Durango to Silverton RR
-riding horses on my great-uncle's ranch in Wyoming.
These were our summer trips... quite the influence on a kid from NJ. I think it is a big factor as to why I live where I do now. Thanks, mom & dad :)
