Another reason to have vent covers is that allows you to leave the vents cracked open when the trailer is stored over the winter. Along with two windows being cracked open, we get sufficient air circulation to prevent any mold/mildew. No need for heaters, moisture-absorbers, or any other anti-mildew devices. I'm not sure the air circulation would be adequate without having the ceiling vents cracked open.
