I don't have toppers but I wish I did. Before we leave a campsite, I climb the ladder and sweep the top of both slides. If you don't, you pull all that debris into your seal and your rig which will lead to problems. I've seen people pointing at me amazed that I'm on top of the rig sweeping the slides.
