Well, I would bet your supposed experiences are exactly opposite what my 11 years so far and probably 90% or more of everyone elses are.
1. I have NEVER swept off my slide topper .... anything on it simple falls off the roller in when it's retracted as it's designed to do. this simple statement that YOU DO makes me question the validity of how factual your post actually is.
2. An issues with wind is really a minor one and easily taken care of from the ground by simply throwing a rope or strap over the awing to keep any "flapping" down to a minimum.

Here again ,more logic ,and facts thats just going to confuse him further ,at this point why bother. No ones experience tops his, just ask .
