Total loss, adjuster wants copy of title prior to settlement

You might be getting the runaround, as drsteve mentions, but Im not sure you'll get anything better from the at fault insurance company. Maybe... worth a shot.

I honestly have never had a vehicle (or trailer) totaled, so I don't know what is reasonable or normal. 23K seems on low end to me too, so it's definitely worth addressing with the other company. I would have thought that is how it should have been in the beginning, but again, having never been through the total loss process, Im following with great interest.
