I used to try to wrestle it around until I saw some fellow campers who had theirs coiled inside a heavy duty plastic laundry basket. I tried it and it worked great. I was able to leave it in the basket to store in in the front bin of my fifth wheel rather then lift it onto the storage hook inside. The handles on the basket made it easier to carry and allowed two people to carry it if necessary.

That's what I use and it works very well. The adapters also go in the tub so I have them if I need them.
