My camper had a 30 A cord that was attached on the other end. I would just pull out what I need and plug it in.
My new toyhauler has a huge pile of 50 A wire with a twist in end on the RV end and 50 A on the other.
I was thinking about using a large milk crate to haul the cord around. Maybe I could feed out 3 ft of the outlet end and then coil the rest over it. So; I could set the crate by the outlet. Plug it in and pull out enough to plug into the toyhauler outlet.
