I've owned both TT's and fifth wheels. The fifth wheel tracks very well in every situation we've been in. The TT's we've pulled also are great when properly set up. The real difference (to me) is in backing the rigs into a spot.
Probably the issue here is what weight you can tow safely. A 5.7 Hemi has power enough to pull bunches of weight, but the truck itself won't be up to the task. Don't let a sales person sway you into doing you might regret later.
