Tow Dolly
What are the pros and cons of a tow dolly with: 1. Electric Brakes controlled by prime mover brakes OR, 2. Surge brakes on the Dolly Tongue/Hitch. Thanks for your answers. Marvin

I have an Acme E-Z tow dolly, with surge disk breaks. I tow a Madza Tribute (sm SUV).
With a 30 ft. Class C. Ford V10. I put 13,000 miles on it this year with no problems, other than tires. ( pot holes and a curb ). Love the surge brakes. With the surge brakes and the tow-haul feature long descents were no problem.
