Tow Dolly
What are the pros and cons of a tow dolly with: 1. Electric Brakes controlled by prime mover brakes OR, 2. Surge brakes on the Dolly Tongue/Hitch. Thanks for your answers. Marvin

We had an ACME with the surge brakes and were totally happy with it. Only got rid of it because we no longer had a vehicle that could be towed on a dolly. We now have another vehicle that can and when we go back to towing, it will more than likely be another ACME with the surge brakes. With the surge brakes there is no adjusting of the brakes. The weight of the car pushing activates the surge brakes.
