Tow dolly
Just bought a tow dolly , I would like to know if it's best to put a license plate on it or not, we plan to travel from the west coast to the east coast

- Nevada requires a dolly tag but not for someone passing thru from a state that doesn't.
- Most states that require a tag only require the tag be displayed if towing the dolly empty. We never had a tag in California or Arizona.
- If your home state does not require that a dolly be tagged, then you don't need one anywhere else. Off hand, I don't know of any state that requires a tag on a resident owned dolly, but there might be some that do. That won't apply to out of state travelers though.
