- tatestExplorer IIIn current production? Any rear drive van if you disconnect the driveshaft, I know a. few guys that do this to tow their pickups, not any towing a full size van. I bought my 12 pass van to tow a RV, not to be towed. behind one. A different way to look at the problem.

If you disconnect the driveshaft, why would you need a lube pump?
Please keep in mind that a manual transmission does not mean it can be towed four down! It is all about lubrication. Many manual trannys can not lube the rear bearings or the mainshaft center bearings if the engine is not running. It may take a while, but damage WILL eventually occur, and the repair will be expensive.
Yes, a lube pump may be available for a full size 12 passenger van. REMCO will be able to tell you.
The big question is, will your tow bar and tow vehicle handle the weight of a full size van? I am right at the limit (if not a little over) when towing my little Ram 1500 pickup. - nevadanickExplorerVan converted to 4wd is. I will be buying a Quigley soon as they are working on Ford Transit conversion.
- MrWizardModeratorShould be no different than towing a pickup truck
It's all about the transmission
Haven't seen a manual shift van in 25 yrs
You may need to do a special order, or a tyranny swap
