Roadmaster, IMO, makes the strongest base plate setup for any truck. Also, their Falcon 2 A/T is rated at 6K, but when I talked to their tech team in Q, they said it was tested Waaaay higher than 6K and they would have no qualms towing over the rated weight, within reason. That is my setup. Their next step up is the Blackhawk A/T, which is rated a 10K. I bought a Roadmaster grill guard directly from Roadmaster, which mounts directly on the base plates when not towing, so it looks clean even with the brackets still installed.
