So...in everyone's opinion...in my situation...what is the maximum GVW/Dry Weight I should be considering?

I keep going back and forth, because my max is 8,300 and the recommended is 7,300. So which number should I be going by and thus what is the heaviest trailer weight I can pull without white knuckling it?

I truly appreciate everyone's insights and comments ;-)
