Towing a 2019 Rubicon Jeep

Any different than towing the 07 Wrangler ?
book says, Transfer case in N, Transmittion in Park.
All wheels up or down, no dollies.

My towing capacity is 10,000 Pounds I don't believe I have a worry.
My Mountain aire weighs 27,300 empty, loaded we seldom see 2000# pounds added, the total combined weight is 43,000.
    I think I have room. :)
I've towed a 8.5' X 20' box trailer loaded. to 14,000# from NY to WA. hardly knew it was there.
Hitch is rated to 10,000 pounds tongue weight.
I don't think we have any worries. weight wise
  • That’s the same procedure as our 2010 JKU and 2014 JK. Your 2019 is probably a little lighter because of aluminum doors, etc.

The brake master cylinder may be different so it depends on the braking system chosen, the old M&G system may not work.

I use a road master air cylinder should not be a problem, after I install the lines and fittings.
