yep, and some have a section for "towing behind a motorhome". IMHO that is the only "official" guide. now folks here seem to think that if somebody sells a base plate for their Hudson Hornet, that that guarantees that it is towable 4 down. others will say that they have towed their Nash Rambler for 50,000 miles and it hasn't broken down yet. Do you feel lucky?
and if you haven't bought that toad yet, be sure to buy one that doesn't need any mechanical alteration to work such as tranny pump, drive shaft disconnect, etc.
